This is a showdown that people have been waiting for a while for. We're of course talking about Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad putting on the gloves for their highly-anticipated rematch. These two UFC fighters are blessed with talent and after all the drama from their first bout, we think the encore has the chance to be even better. The first time these two faced off, it was way back in 2021. That fight unfortunately ended in a no-contest, as Edwards accidentally poked Muhammad in the eye, forcing him to be unable to close things out. It was a bummer, as people were ready to see these two go all out. Now, about three years later, the two will step inside of the octagon and it's quite clear that they don't like one another. Muhammad is ready to silence Edwards.

"You’re the champion of the world. If you’re the best fighter in the world, fight the best guy in the division that’s right behind you. I have the longest winning streak in the division. How many rounds will the Edwards vs. Muhammad fight last?
A big question leading up to this bout is how many rounds will the Edwards vs. Muhammad fight last? Last time around, the two were pretty evenly matched, but again, it was back in 2021. Now, despite Edwards being the favorite, Muhammad wants to make a statement and he also wants to remind everyone that he has what it takes to pull off a big-time upset. While we don't think he will, we do think this battle has the potential to go the distance.
With this being the main event and a title fight, it will last a maximum of five rounds and not the usual three that we'll see for some of the undercards. However, a lot of people think that Edwards is going to take care of business pretty early in the fight, as some have predicted that he could stop Muhammad as early as the first or second round. In our opinion, there's no way that's going to happen.

“I hate his guts,” Muhammad said of Edwards. “The last fighter I fought that I had dislike for was Sean Brady. That was just because he was talking all this trash. For the Leon fight, they’re trying to avoid me. Him trying to act like — downplaying my accomplishments and telling me I don’t deserve it, I never earned it, that stuff does nothing but piss me off. It’s fueling me with hatred for this guy, and I just can’t wait to get in there and get my hands on him."
As you can see, Muhammad is fired up to make this a war vs. Edwards. The over/under for this matchup has been set at 3.5 rounds, with -110 betting odds for both per the top UFC betting sites. As much as we'd like to think Edwards will take care of business early on, we have. feeling that Muhammad is going to make this an intriguing showdown. Tom Aspinall is expected to dominate in the co-main event
Elsewhere, it should be no surprise that Tom Aspinall is expected to dominate in the co-main event. Aspinall, who sports a 14-3-0 record, is all set to take on Curtis Blaydes in a heavyweight meeting. Make no mistake about it, these two guys have a ton of force and they can knock one another out with a single punch. While Blaydes is an underdog, his unreal power is something that can't be overlooked.
This is something Aspinall knows he's going to have to be aware of when it's time to step inside of the octagon. Luckily for Aspinall, he's a smart fighter and he has the kind of defensive moves to make sure he's not knocked out. Will he be able to stay focused and not lose sight of things? It will be interesting to see how things shape out here, but we like Aspinall and his -250 UFC betting odds. He's our pick for this one.
