In this particular main event, Alex Pereira should take care of business early on against Khalil Rountree. Pereira is the dominant fighter and while some people are trying to bring down his recent losses as a reason why he won't be able to take care of business in this one, there's simply no arguing that he's a much smarter and more technical fighter over Rountree. Pereira has amazing speed and power.
Rountree is no slouch himself, but he just doesn't match the high level of Pereira. Some people think this fight could be over as early as the first round. We're not sure if that's going to be the case, as we'd like to give Rountree some credit here. He has nothing to lose in this one and he's going to focus on strong defense to try and wear Pereira down. This shouldn't go the full five rounds, but Pereira is going to have a test ahead of him.

“I definitely do have something that has never been seen before, ever,” Rountree said in a recent interview with ESPN. “When I was talking to Joe (Rogan) and I told him ‘Yeah, I have plans to do this hopefully in my next fight’, at that time I didn’t know that I would be fighting Alex. There are guys in the division that I can see it working on 100 percent, there could be a possibility of this happening, this move, this technique happening, it’s possible."
