- What: 2025 NFL Draft
- Where: Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin
- When: April 24-26
- How to watch: ESPN
The calendar may read April, but there's no question that sports fans across the world have football on their mind. Wait, what? That's right, the NFL Draft is sneaking up on us and countless superstars are ready to see their dreams come true. With things coming this month, Cam Ward is the overwhelming favorite to go No. 1 in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Will the Miami signal-caller end up being the top pick? That's the expectation, as the Tennessee Titans are on the clock first and the AFC South side is in need of a new QB1 to lead the offense. Will Levis was recently drafted to be a stud for the team, but he hasn't been able to live up to the hype. Now, someone like Ward could come in and change things as a whole for the Titans.
NFL Draft odds | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() |
---|---|---|---|
Ward No. 1 | -500 | -500 | -500 |
Hunter No. 1 | +1500 | +1500 | +1500 |
Carter No. 1 | +1800 | +1800 | +1800 |
Sanders No. 1 | +2250 | +2250 | +2250 |
“Well first I would ask if they watched film of him at all this year,” Miami head coach Mario Cristobal said of people questioning Ward's potential in the NFL. “If they have, I think the decision would be a lot easier. He’s 1 of 1. Not only as a player but as a person. Every single down, every single rep, there are no wasted opportunities."
According to the best sports betting sites, Ward has been given -5000 betting odds to go No. 1 overall. This tells us that the Vegas oddsmakers think it's a virtual lock for Ward to go off the board first. From our chair, the only thing to wonder leading up to draft night is whether or not the Titans will trade the top pick for someone else to grab Ward. He's our pick to be the first pick, though, 100 percent.
"Shedeur Sanders looked good at the showcase..
The Titans and Shedeur mutually cancelled their visit which to me makes sense..
It looks like they're gonna select Cam Ward at number one" ~ @RapSheet #PMSLive pic.twitter.com/c5eEc0TS0U

Travis Hunter is a small favorite to go No. 2 overall to the Browns
As for the selection behind Ward, Travis Hunter is a small favorite to go No. 2 overall to the Browns. This shouldn't come as a major surprise, as Hunter won the Heisman Trophy this past season and he was dominant on both sides of the ball for Colorado. Hunter is oozing with potential and he's no question going to make a team happy in late April.
"It's tremendous," Colorado coach Deion Sanders said of Hunter and Shedeur Sanders. "They should be going 1-2 [in the draft], that's the way I feel about it. They are the two best players in this draft. The surest bets in this draft are those two young men, and I didn't stutter or stammer when I said that."
Travis Hunter says he can play every snap in an NFL game if given the chance.
How does he have the time to prepare and attend all the meetings needed?
“We got 24 hours in a day. We sleep for 8 of those. So we got 16 more dedicated to that.”

Looking to get in on the betting action too? There's no question that the NFL Draft is full of betting intrigue, with the top sportsbooks offering up awesome deals. The BetOnline promo codes and promotions are fan favorites around the year and for good reason. We could be in for a surprise or two on draft night, which would make the betting action even more fun.
As for Hunter, he and Shedeur Sanders (more on him below)were awesome together this year and they both have bright futures in the league. Cleveland also needs a new QB, but passing up on someone like Hunter could be something the Browns front office decides against. Hunter holds -130 odds per the best NFL betting sites to go No. 2 - he's our pick for the Browns.
Who will the New York Giants take with the No. 3 pick?
To close out the Top 3, who will the New York Giants take with the No. 3 pick? There's still an outside chance Joe Schoen trades up for the top spot, but it's looking more likely that the G-Men will stand pat at No. 3. If that's the case, Abdul Carter is looking like the likely selection.
Carter is coming off an incredible season with Penn State, locking himself in as the best pass-rusher in the game. The Giants are loaded with talent up front on defense, highlighted by Dexter Lawrence, Kayvon Thibodeaux and Brian Burns.
Can you imagine if the NFC East side is able to add Carter as well? The Giants are in need of a new quarterback too, but reaching for Sanders may not be what Schoen and Brian Daboll think would be the right call. Carter would be a safe bet on defense, which is why a lot of Giants fans are hoping he'll be the pick. It will be interesting to see how things go down here, but Carter would make a ton of sense.
