Throughout the year, we have seen some incredible tourneys and such will be the case once again over in France. That's because the Paris Masters is underway. With all of that said, Carlos Alcaraz is the favorite to win the 2024 Paris Masters. Will he be able to get the job done?
It has been a memorable year for Alcaraz, who has been on top of his game throughout the year. He nearly took home the Gold Medal at the Summer Olympics, but he suffered a heartbreaking loss to Novak Djokavic. Now, though, he's ready to make a statement in Paris and a lot of people think he'll be able to come out on top. He's also getting ready to play after a memorable recent training session with tennis legend Roger Federer.

"It was an unbelievable experience for me," Alcaraz said in a recent interview with EuroSport. "Having the chance to play with him, it was great. I just enjoyed so much, every shot, watching him playing the shots so easily. It was a dream. It was a great experience. I had the chance to talk a lot with him, ask him some questions about when he was playing. It was a masterclass honestly from him."

Jannik Sinner is also receiving plenty of hype for the Paris Masters
It goes without saying, but Jannik Sinner is also receiving plenty of hype for the Paris Masters. This shouldn't come as a surprise at all, as Sinner is without question one of the best players on the planet. He's also been posting some memorable performances this year and Sinner is no stranger to win competitive tournaments. Throughout his career, he has won 17 ATP singles tournaments, with two majors to his name.
This year alone, Sinner has won the 2024 Australian Open and the 2024 U.S. Open. That success speaks volume to how great of a tennis player he is. A lot of people are hoping for Sinner and Alcaraz to meet in the final, which would be a ton of fun to watch. We'll find out soon enough if that happens, but if it does, you better believe that there's going to be a lot of intrigue heading up to that showdown. Sinner is also feeling pretty confident with the Paris Masters here, but knows there's a tough road.

“It is a very tough draw," Sinner said in a recent interview. "A very, very difficult draw, especially here on these courts. Big servers are very tough. But we go day by day. Then anything can happen. The draw can open up sometimes, or you never know what's coming."
Per the top tennis betting sites, Sinner holds +250 odds to win the Paris Masters, which puts him right behind Alcaraz. It would not be a shocker at all if Sinner ends up being the champion - he's a tremendous talent and has the ability to turn a lot of heads. We're going to stick with Alcaraz as our winner, but look for Sinner to make a ton of noise in Paris from start to finish in this tournament.
There are several other contenders for the 2024 Paris Masters
While a lot of the focus is on Sinner and Alcaraz, keep in mind that there are several other contenders for the 2024 Paris Masters. The long list includes Daniil Medvedev, Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz, Grigor Dimitrov and many others. Of all those other participants we just mentioned, Medvedev is the one that plenty of people are talking about and for plenty of solid reasons right now.
Medvedev has been given +800 tennis betting odds to win it all. Yes, those aren't great odds compared to Sinner and Alcaraz, but the fact of the matter is that he can make a splash in this tournament and he's someone who can't be forgotten about.
