Now that Indian Wells has come and gone, it's time to focus on the next big event for tennis fans to enjoy. That's right, the Miami Open has arrived and people can't wait to see who will come out on top. Is another upset on the way, or will the biggest star in the world get the job done. With that said, Carlos Alcaraz is the favorite to win the 2025 Miami Open. Will he get things done?
Alcaraz is entering this new tournament ready to prove a point. Last week in California, Alcaraz was ready to push for the title at Indian Wells, but he fell short, losing in the semifinals. It was not a result that people were expecting, as the hope was that he'd win it all and then try and post back-to-back title wins with Miami here too. We don't have to tell you that him losing was a stunner.
Miami open odds | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() |
---|---|---|---|
Alcaraz to win | +210 | +210 | +210 |
Djokovic to win | +850 | +850 | +850 |
Draper to win | +1000 | +1000 | +1000 |
Zverev to win | +1050 | +1050 | +1050 |
“Even in the warming up on court, I was missing a lot," Alcaraz said after losing at Indian Wells. "I didn't feel my shots. So that's why I was talking with Juan Carlos on the bike, because I was a little bit mad with myself about the way I warmed up on court. I didn't approach the match in the best way that I could. So I was nervous during the whole day, in the practice before the match.”
According to the best sports betting sites, Alcaraz holds +210 odds to win the Miami Open. That number tells you that the Vegas oddsmakers have high confidence that he'll be able to take home the trophy. Soon enough, Alcaraz is going to want to get off to a hot start and not slow down. It won't be easy, but we're going with him as our pick to win the title.

Jack Draper holds impressive Miami Open odds after winning at Indian Wells
It shouldn't come as a big shocker, but Jack Draper holds impressive Miami Open odds after winning at Indian Wells. There's no question that Draper shocked a lot of people by winning the title in California. The expectation was that Alcaraz would continue his magical run, but Draper took down the rest of the field to post the win. He was quite thrilled to capture the championship and understandably so.
"I said at the end of last year I wanted to be competing with the likes of Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner and all the players who are competing for big titles," Draper said after winning Indian Wells. It's one thing saying it but it's another thing doing it. To back up six matches here at the highest level against tough opponents is something I've been working hard to be able to achieve."
''He's been playing so well, it was just a matter of time'' ✨

Looking to get in on the betting action too? If you take a look at some of the top sportsbooks, including Bovada, BetOnline and others, they'll have great bonus options for you to take advantage of. The BetOnline promo codes and promotions would be great for users hoping to get in on the betting action for the Miami Open. Now is a great time to get in on the fun, no doubt about that.
As for Draper, he's ready to prove even more people wrong this month. He holds +1000 odds to win the Miami Open. While those odds aren't as strong as Alcaraz, it shouldn't take away from the fact that he'll still be able to make some noise in Florida. We're sticking with Alcaraz as our pick to win it all, but don't be surprised if Draper goes on a deep run too.
Aryna Sabalenka is the favorite to win the women's Miami Open
On the other side of things, don't forget that Aryna Sabalenka is the favorite to win the women's Miami Open. There's an impressive field for the women's bracket as well, but Sabalenka is ready to make a statement and remind everyone too that she's one of the top tennis players on the planet. There's a big challenge on the way for her, though, as this field is also quite loaded.
Right behind Sabalenka is Iga Swiatek. Right now the expert analysts are predicting Sabalenka and Swiatek to meet in the final. Sabalenka has been given +260 odds to win the Miami Open per the best tennis betting sites, while Swiatek is right behind here with +300 odds. It'd be a close battle if they ended face off with the trophy on the line. It would be a fun meeting, but we're going with Sabalenka as our pick.
