NBA Finals Game 4: Over/Under Pick
The over/under throughout the NBA Finals has hovered around the same betting line, give or take a point here and there. That hasn't changed going into Game 4 as the top-used NBA betting sites have it at 214.5 points. Here are the current betting odds:
This bet — as well as every other in this game — hinges on Steph Curry's health. He's been, without question, the best player in this entire series, and that goes for both teams. However, he was in pain at the end of Game 3 when he and Boston's Al Horford hit the ground for a loose ball. Curry was seen screaming, which obviously doesn't look good on the surface. He's confirmed he's playing, but at what capacity remains a giant question mark.
Curry has been lights out up to this point — with averages of 31.3 points (on 49-percent shooting from three), five rebounds, and 3.7 assists. The trouble for the Warriors has been getting production from anyone else on the team, sans Andrew Wiggins. Klay Thompson finally came alive in Game 3 with a 27-point effort, but even that wasn't enough for the Dubs to keep the game close. The C's won Game 3 in convincing fashion, 116-100.
We said it last time and we'll say it again, road games typically aren't where role players come alive for the visiting team. Tack on Curry's injury, and we have a tough time seeing Golden State breaking out offensively on Friday. That should weigh on the game's scoring output, which signals an under is coming.
