Just last weekend, there was a ton of excitement with the U.S. Grand Prix taking place over in Texas. The track was absolutely packed with people, who were able to see an amazing race. Now, the attention will shift south of the border, with the Mexico Grand Prix next up on the schedule. This is something fans can't wait for. With that said, Charles Leclerc is the favorite to win the 2024 Mexico Grand Prix. Will he be able to get the job done?
Leclerc has a ton of confidence right now, as he won the U.S. Grand Prix not long ago. It was an impressive performance for him and one that has plenty of people talking. Lando Norris was the favorite for that race and a lot of people assumed he'd be the one to come out on top. However, Leclerc was able to record a memorable performance and you already know he's still fired up over the result. Will he be able to make it back-to-back wins?

"We've got to target winning the constructors' title," Leclerc said after winning the US Grand Prix. "It's an optimistic goal but that's what we are here for. We will do the math like any other season, until then the best thing we can do is to focus on ourselves, on our own performance, just like we did this weekend.
According to the best sports betting sites, Leclerc holds +260 Formula 1 betting odds to come out on top. The top Formula 1 betting sites think it will be a battle between Norris and Leclerc this weekend. From our chair, it's going to be a tough battle between the two standouts. It will be interesting to see how this one goes down, as it should be a tight battle all the way to the end. With that said, we're going with Leclerc as our pick.

Lando Norris is hoping to make a statement at the Mexico Grand Prix
It goes without saying, but Lando Norris is hoping to make a statement at the Mexico Grand Prix. At the U.S. Grand Prix, there were high expectations for him, with countless people assuming he'd be able to take care of business. Instead of that happening, though, it was Leclerc who was the one to celebrate in Texas after posting a memorable win. That didn't sit well with Norris, no doubt about that.
Now with things heading to Mexico, Norris is going to have some revenge on his mind. The great news here for Norris is that he also holds fantastic odds to post a win this weekend. He's been set with +275 Formula 1 betting odds, which is right behind Leclerc. Norris has what it takes to come away with a win, and he's surely looking to make a statement after a controversial penalty was issued on him for passing Max Verstappen at the US Grand Prix.

"For me, the thing that is incorrect is what Max did, which is defend his position by going off the track and effectively keeping his position," Norris said. "He over-defended and made a mistake and gained from that. I had to go off the track. It is impossible for people to know whether I could have made it on the track or couldn't, therefore you cannot steward that kind of thing."
As we mentioned above, Norris holds +275 betting odds to win the Mexico Grand Prix. This just goes to show and analysts have strong belief in him potentially getting the job done. It's not going to be easy, but he has what it takes to make things interesting down the stretch. We're going to stick with our guns in going with Leclerc as our pick, but Norris will certainly be someone to keep an eye on.
Several other drivers are in contention to win the 2024 Mexico Grand Prix
While there's plenty of attention on Norris and Leclerc, it's important to keep in mind that several other drivers are in contention to win the 2024 Mexico Grand Prix. At the top of the list, behind Norris/Leclerc, has to be Verstappen. He also holds incredible odds, as he's been set at +300, which is not too far behind the two leaders heading into things. Will Verstappen be able to make a splash?
That's what people are waiting to find out. He's not the only one in contention, however, as Carlos Sainz, Oscar Piastri and George Russell are also looking like drivers who can turn heads too. Once Sunday arrives, the loaded field will do everything possible to try and prevent Leclerc or Norris from capturing the glory. Looking to get in on the action?
