It's finally here. After a while of debates, and constant back and forth between the two main candidates, the elections in the United States are about to take place. On one hand, Donald Trump is ready to represent the Republican Party, while Kamala Harris is on the ballot for the Democrats. Who will end up winning? Well, Donald Trump is a small favorite to win the 2024 U.S. Presidential election.
Trump was previously the president of the United States, serving one term. However, he lost the race against Joe Biden in 2020, which caused an uproar across the USA. After sitting out of the White House for four years, Trump is back and hopeful that he can come out on top this time around. Trump is also feeling quite confident about things.

Kamala Harris is hoping to make a statement in the presidential elections
While plenty of people are confident in Trump being able to win this one, keep in mind that Kamala Harris is hoping to make a statement in the presidential elections. Harris has the opportunity to become the first woman president in history of the USA. Hillary Clinton previously tried to achieve that feat, but she lost to Trump back in 2016.
Now, though, Harris is hoping to push forward after she has been working closely with Biden as his Vice President. Harris has been able to make a big difference during her time at the White House, which is why she doesn't want her time in Washington D.C. to end. What has helped her too is that plenty of big names and celebrities have endorsed her, which is a positive sign.

Right now, there's a bit of an uphill climb for Harris, though, as Trump indeed is the favorite. Harris was previously considered a strong favorite to win things here, but the odds have changed over the past month or so. Harris holds her +125 odds, which shows us that she's a bit of an underdog. We're sticking with Trump as our pick, but Harris indeed will be making things close.
Americans have already bet more than $100 million on the U.S. elections
In some head-turning news, it has been reported that Americans have already bet more than $100 million on the U.S. elections. People are looking at the election odds the same way that'd be doing for the NFL betting sites and the NBA betting sites too, which has caught some people off guard.
At the same time, though, it's not uncommon for Americans to try and find something neat and different to bet on. While sports betting is a ton of fun, people also bet on the elections, different endings for shows, movies and so much more.
If anything, it should be a surprise that people are betting on the matchup between Trump and Harris, but it's a little eye-opening that so much money is being put down on this election. The numbers of course are only going to grow leading up to Election Day on Nov. 5.
Right now, a lot of the money is going on Trump, which makes sense because he's the favorite. However, a lot of money is also being placed on Harris, as she's hoping to post a bit of an upset here. Soon enough, we'll find out how things go down, but by Nov. 5 at night time, we'll know if Trump will be the next president or if Harris won't be going anywhere.
