We are already midway through September and domestic leagues across the planet are in full force. Man City is without question one of the best teams on the planet. They've dominated the Premier League in recent years, taking down all of the English teams who have tried to come in their way. City won the Champions League two years ago and they're hoping to do the same next spring. MCFC is riding high and with plenty of confidence, especially Erling Haaland. It might not come as a surprise to you, but Real Madrid is our pick to win the 2024-25 Champions League. After doing so last season, including eliminating Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, the La Liga giants have only gotten better with the addition of Kylian Mbappe. Similar to Haaland, Mbappe is without question one of the top goal scorers in the world, as he has a knack for finding the back of the net.
Him, Bellingham and Vini Jr. all working together is almost unfair for opposing defenses. Mbappe is best known for his playing days at Paris Saint-Germain, but he's now focused on making history with his new club. He's off to a strong start with his new team, which is of course great news for Carlo Ancelotti. Moving forward, the hope is Mbappe can keep building chemistry with his teammates and have a memorable Champions League season.
