It's not often that there are two co-favorites for a race like this, but that's exactly how things have shaped out this time around. It shouldn't be a stunner that Verstappen and Leclerc hold strong F1 betting odds, as they're indeed two of the best drivers on the planet. Not only that, but both will arrive in Nevada next week with a ton of confidence they'll be able to win as well.

Max Verstappen is our pick to win the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix
This isn't easy for us, but Max Verstappen is our pick to win the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix. As we mentioned above, Verstappen is about to enter this race with confidence and rightfully so. He has once again been on a tear this year, reminding everyone that when he's behind the wheel, he's a serious threat to win any race he's involved in.
Leclerc is also a world-class talent, don't forget about that. What's going to make this battle even more intriguing is the fact that the two drivers have a tremendous amount of respect for one another. Yes, this is a bit of an F1 rivalry, but it's a respectful one. Verstappen knows Leclerc has what it takes to win in Vegas and the feeling is reciprocated.
Everyone should read the communication between Max Verstappen & Gianpiero Lambiase between laps 23-32.
They could use this in training courses for future race engineers. Concise, clear communication & trust both ways.

Soon enough, we'll find out how things go here. With both of these drivers holding +220 odds, something tells us things could come down to the wire. Having said all of that, we do in fact think that Verstappen is going to do more than enough to cross the finish line first. There's a loaded field for this one, but he's our pick to finish in first.
There are other contenders to keep an eye on at the Las Vegas Grand Prix
While everyone is talking about Leclerc and Verstappen ahead of things, keep in mind that there are other contenders to keep an eye on at the Las Vegas Grand Prix. The list 100 percent includes Lando Norris, who remains a bit unhappy over how things went in Brazil for him. He felt like he was in great shape to win in Sao Paulo, but claims Verstappen got 'lucky' with how things finished.
“That’s luck for them, nothing more. They got lucky,” Norris said. “A rule that no one agrees with. Probably today they will agree with it, but every driver has disagreed with it in the past. Today it benefited them, it could have benefited us if we’d stayed out, but that’s a stupid thing to think. Of course, disappointed with the result, it could have been better.”
Per the oddsmakers, Norris is right behind Leclerc and Verstappen with his +300 betting odds. In addition to him, you're definitely going to want to keep a close eye on Carlos Sainz, Oscar Piastri, Lewis Hamilton and others.
We think Verstappen will win, but the guys we just mentioned will be keeping things tight for him, no doubt about that. Looking to bet on the action?
