It's important to keep in mind that Saquon Barkley has high Super Bowl MVP odds for the Eagles too. In the NFC Championship Game against the Commanders, Barkley stole the show, rushing for 118 yards and three touchdowns. On the Eagles' opening offensive play of the game, he broke free for a long TD run, which had people fired up all over Philly.
Looking ahead to the Super Bowl, Jalen Hurts is of course going to be looking to throw the ball all over the field, but Nick Sirianni is going to be focusing on the ground game too. Barkley has looked like the best RB in the NFL this season and now he's going to want to make a statement. Pushing for a title is exactly why he signed with the NFC East powerhouse.
