Premier League Goalscorers For Week 6
Matchday 6 of the 2016-17 Premier League throws up some fixtures that could see plenty of goals scored, but which players are going to score them?

Daniel Sturridge to score for Liverpool against Hull City
Free-scoring Liverpool host Hull City this weekend in a fixture that I believe could see plenty of balls hit the back of the net, and a fixture where the over 2.5 goals market at -115 looks ripe for the taking. Liverpool have scored 11 goals and conceded eight times during their first five games of the season with three of those games triggering over 2.5 goals.
Daniel Sturridge has two goals to his name this season, both coming in the cup, so now is the time to open his Premier League account for the current campaign. Bovada are thinking along the same lines as me, offering +300 on Sturridge opening the scoring and an odds-on -135 to score during 90-minutes.
Hull struggled to contain Arsenal’s attack when they lost 4-1 and it’s my opinion that Liverpool pose more of a threat going forward than the Gunners, which should create plenty of chances for arguably England’s most natural striker.
Saido Mane to score for Liverpool against Hull City
Saido Mane has two Premier League goals so far this season, and I expect him to have at least one more by the time Liverpool versus Hull City finishes this weekend.
Hull have defended quite well this season, with the exception of conceding four goals against Arsenal, but they seemed to struggle with players who attacked them directly with pace and power, something that Mane possesses by the bucket load.
Six of Mane’s 15 goals last season came against opposition considered weaker than his then team, Southampton, were playing, which is definitely the case in this game. Mane is currently +400 to score first and +105 to score at any time.
Wayne Rooney to score for Manchester United against Leicester City
After losing three games in the space of a week, Manchester United find themselves under pressure to get all three points against Leicester City, and some of their stars seem to be able to play their best when they are under scrutiny.
One such player is Wayne Rooney who has been singled out for some criticism of late, both for Manchester United and while on international duty with England. There is a chance that Rooney will not start against Leicester so I would stay away from the +600 on his scoring first and instead go for the +190 on him finding the back of the net during the game’s 90-minutes.
Romelu Lukaku to score for Everton against Bournemouth
Bournemouth conceded four goals on the road to Manchester City and three goals at home to Manchester United going some way to show they struggle to defend against teams with plenty of attacking options, which does not bode well for the visit of Everton this weekend.
Everton’s Romelu Lukaku went 13 Everton games without scoring before scoring a hat trick against Sunderland and then finding the back of the net against Middlesbrough. Lukaku seems to go through spells of being in red hot form, or struggling for form, now seems to be the former.
Odds of Lukaku scoring the first goal are +400 with the big Belgian international priced at +135 to find his name on the score sheet at any time during the game. Those seem like great odds when you consider the facts highlighted above.
