It all comes down to this. The NASCAR Cup Series playoffs have been thrilling, as we've seen some interesting results be posted. Now, the last race of the season is here and countless people are going to be on their way to Phoenix this weekend to see who will come out on top. With that said, Ryan Blaney is favored to win the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Championship race. Will he get the job done?
Blaney has been so much fun to watch of late, especially after winning last year. Leading up to things, a ton of people assumed that Kyle Larson would be the cup champion this season, but that's not going to be the case. Blaney is ready to make a splash and he could finalize things this weekend by winning the last race of the postseason.
NASCAR Championship Race odds | |||
---|---|---|---|
Blaney to win | +350 | +350 | +350 |
Byron to win | +450 | +450 | +450 |
Logano to win | +650 | +650 | +650 |
Reddick to win | +750 | +750 | +750 |
"You have to perform two years in a row — you and your team have to do it and have perfect ends of the year," Blaney said recently. "It's really tough. We have a pretty unique opportunity to try to change that [stat], and hopefully we bring our best stuff and have a shot at it."
According to the best sports betting sites, Blaney holds +350 racing betting odds to win this final race. There are other people in contention to post a victory, but Blaney knows exactly what's on the line in this one. With all of that said, we're going with Blaney as our pick to win the race. It will be interesting to see if that happens or not.
We have a special group. This 12-Team never quit believing in one another and that showed in Martinsville. Couldn’t have done it without everyone back at the shop, our amazing partners and support throughout Team Penske. We are ready to race for another Championship. pic.twitter.com/bSDGSlz6Ki

Ryan Blaney is also our pick to win the NASCAR Cup Series title
As you might have been able to guess, Ryan Blaney is also our pick to win the NASCAR Cup Series title. We're going all-in on him, as a win on Sunday will secure the glory for him. Blaney has been able to make a statement this postseason, which has been amazing to see for him. He has proven to be one of the best drivers in the sport.
Before the postseason started, let's be real here, not a ton of people thought Blaney was going to make much of a splash. The assumption was that either Larson or Tyler Reddick would be the ones to run away with things. However, behind some fantastic performances, Blaney now finds himself in a tremendous position to turn heads.
"It’s hard to rank – it’s tough to rank wins," Blaney said. "Like I don’t know if anything really beats your first one, just because of how special it is. It’s definitely up there for multiple reasons – being a kid, always wanted to win as an adult and for putting us into Phoenix.”
Ryan Blaney could become the 11th driver to win back-to-back #NASCAR Cup Series titles.

Overall, while Blaney holds +350 odds to win the race on Sunday, he's still in a tremendous spot to still be the champion overall even if he doesn't come in first. The oddsmakers in Vegas have given him +150 odds to win the championship, which speaks volumes to how great of a chance he has to make some history. People are checking the BetOnline promo codes and promotions before this race and rightfully so.
There are several other contenders for the NASCAR Cup Series title
While a lot of the attention right now is on Blaney, keep in mind that there are several other contenders for the NASCAR Cup Series title. Yes, Blaney holds the best odds, but William Byron is right behind him, as is Joey Logano and Reddick. All three of those guys would love nothing more than to post a stunning upset this weekend and prevent Blaney from being the champion.
From our chair, if anyone is going to get that job done, it's going to have to be Byron. Yes, there's a chance for Logano and Reddick to try and catch up to Blaney, but Byron is perhaps going to be the one with the best opportunity to get something done here. Only time will tell if he'll be able to get that job done or not.
Sunday's race in Phoenix is going to be incredibly intriguing and racing fans across the planet can't wait. People check the NASCAR odds the same way they do for the Formula 1 betting odds, as whenever the best stars are behind the wheel, entertainment follows. This one is going to be a lot of fun in Arizona, but again, we're going with Blaney to win the race and the title.
