The wait is almost over for everyone who is ready to see what will happen between Terence Crawdord and Israil Madrimov. This is a boxing battle that folks across the globe have been waiting a long time for, and things are about to arrive later this week. “I was already going into the Hall of Fame before I fought (Errol) Spence,” Crawford said via an interview with the New York Post. “I didn’t need Spence for anything other than undisputed at welterweight and just to beat my archrival in the sport of boxing. But other than that, the opinions already were ‘Terence Crawford is the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world.’ So I wouldn’t say anything has changed. I’m still the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world.”

Madrimov might be the title holder, but he is going to have a mountain to climb to try and take down Crawford in this one. How many rounds will the Crawford-Madrimov fight last?
A question a lot of people are asking themselves right now is how many rounds will the Crawford-Madrimov fight last? On one hand, some people think that Crawford is going to be able to get things done early on in the fight, but others think that Madrimov is going to make this quite closer than folks anticipate. From our chair, we think that Crawford is going to put forth a convincing performance.

“When we are watching him we are making an insight, or tactic,” Madrimov said of his fight with Crawford via a video interview with DAZN. “In the ring he’s moving, he’s watching all punches, you know, smart, smart guy.”

However, there are -175 odds of things not going to a decision. This really feels like a toss up, but we think Madrimov will keep things close. With that said, we're going with the fight going the distance and last the full 12 rounds as our pick.

Elsewhere in Los Angeles, Andy Ruiz Jr. is the favorite in his undercard fight on Saturday night. Ruiz is all set to take on Jarrell Miller. This is a heavyweight meeting that people can't wait for. Ruiz has dominant power and he's going to hope to showcase some haymakers in this fight with Miller. To his credit, Miller is also known for his strength, which could cause issues for Ruiz if he isn't too careful at the BMO Stadium.
Ruiz is ready to make some noise. Yes, a ton of focus is on Crawford to see what he can do, but don't forget that Ruiz is going to look to impress people as well. He holds -350 betting odds per the top boxing betting sites to post a win and we think he's going to be able to cruise to a victory. We're no question going with him as our pick. It will be interesting to see if this is a close fight too, but we don't see that happening.
