Is this going to be the season where the Bronx Bombers can break their current curse? Right now, the Yankees are our pick to win the 2024 World Series. This really feels like it's going to be a postseason to remember for Aaron Boone and Co. The main reason we have so much faith in the Yankees is the fact that Aaron Judge is playing at an MVP level once again. Judge is looking like one of the top players in the game.
This is only going to give the Yankees some confidence as they prepare to try and go on a deep postseason run. In addition to Judge, Giancarlo Stanton and Juan Soto are going to be looking to make a ton of noise too. Soto is potentially entering his final stretch of games for the Yankees, though fans are calling for the front office to give him a massive extension this offseason. Regardless, Soto and the other studs will be ready to attack the task at hand.
"You can't take this for granted at all," Stanton said after the Yankees wrapped up the AL East title. "It's expected, for sure, but times like last year, they happen, so you got to appreciate it. We're here now, enjoy it, you never know if you ever get a chance again, so you got to go."
Per the best MLB betting sites, the Yankees hold +400 baseball betting odds to win the World Series this fall. Fans all over New York are dreaming of them getting the job done, but it's really going to depend on how the pitching performs. The starting rotation has been solid at times, but they've also battled inconsistency. We'll find out soon how they perform, but again, we're going with NY as our pick.

The Dodgers are the favorites to win the World Series this season
Will Los Angeles spoil the part for everyone in New York? Over the past 162 games for every team out there, we saw plenty of surprises. Now, we have to wait and see who will go on a deep run to earn a trip to the Fall Classic. As you might have been able to guess, several teams have emerged as top contenders. Having said that, the Dodgers are the World Series favorites with the MLB postseason here.
Throughout the season, the Dodgers have looked like one of the best teams out there. This isn't a shocker at all, as they have one of the best lineups in the bigs and they also have fantastic pitching. The Dodgers made countless headlines last offseason when they signed Shohei Ohtani to a massive 10-year contract. Now, the star slugger is ready to try and win his first World Series. The Dodgers enter the playoffs with a ton of confidence too.
Despite having their pitchers spend more days on the IL than any other team, the Dodgers managed to finish with the best record in baseball.
98 wins is cool, but they need 11 more for this season to be a success. We need the first Dodgers World Series parade since 1988. pic.twitter.com/5tgvI9d0H0

“This is something that I know Shohei’s dreamed about ever since he was a young kid," manager Dave Roberts said in a recent interview. "Now he’s living it, right now in real time. He’s put on a show in the last couple weeks. What a year he’s having. We’re going to ride that horse, that thoroughbred to the championship.”
According to the best sports betting sites, the Dodgers hold +300 World Series betting odds, which is No. 1 out there. This isn't a stunner at all. From our chair, it wouldn't be head-turning at all if Los Angeles pulls this off. It will be interesting to see if that can happen for them or not. With all of that said, we're sticking to our guns with the Yankees as our pick. Something tells us NY will be able to surprise a lot of people. Will LA even get to the Fall Classic?
Will the Phillies be able to win the NL pennant?
A big question a lot of people have on their minds right now is will the Phillies be able to win the NL pennant? The Dodgers are of course expected to take care of business in the National League, but Bryce Harper and Co. are going to be ready to fight with all they've got. The Phillies are also stacked with talent.
Countless MLB fans are hopeful that the Dodgers and Phillies will go on to meet in the NLCS. In the Divisional Round, the Phillies will be taking on the Mets, while the Dodgers will be taking on the Padres. If both teams advance, which we expect, it will set up a thrilling series. Yes, LA will be favored to move on to the World Series, but we're going with Philly in this case, as we think Harper will lead his team on a dream run. The Phillies are our NL pick to move on to the Fall Classic to play the Yankees.
