Chelsea FC have played at Stamford Bridge since the club’s inception in 1905. Chelsea enjoyed an almost flawless 2016-17 season, eventually winning the Premier League with a couple of weeks to spare. N’Golo Kante, who was the best player in the league during the winning campaign, is a big reason why Chelsea won the title. But so too is their charismatic, intelligent manager Antonio Conte. Conte arrived in England prior to the 2016-17 season and took the country – and league – by storm.
They’re currently one of the most popular clubs in the world. In 2003, Roman Abromovich bought over 50% of Chelsea’s shares on the stock exchange, and soon after bought out the majority of the shareholders. He holds a 90% stake in the club. He rid the club of all of their debt and went on a mass spending spree, which shook up how the league operated at the time. Superstars from across the globe descended on West London.
Abromovich injected so much money into the club that it was only a matter of time before the success came and we now see Chelsea as one of the most dangerous teams in world football.

How To Make Money Betting On Chelsea
The 2015/16 campaign was one of the worst in recent memory for Chelsea FC. They brought back the self-proclaimed 'Special One' for a second stint in charge of the Blues. However, Jose Mourinho was sacked midway through the season after a run of abysmal results.
They started the season as defending champions under Jose. Everything looked in place for them to dominate again but Mourhino lost the support of his players early. Eden Hazard and Diego Costa looked a shadow of their former selves. They recovered a little in the end, but ended up finishing in 10th place in the Premier League - by far their worst season of the Abramovich era.
That subpar season seems like an eternity ago, as Chelsea rebounded to win the Premier League in 2016-17. Under the management of Conte, Chelsea were head and shoulders above the rest of the league. Though Tottenham posed some danger, Chelsea's title-winning campaign was never under perilous threat.
Conte can take a lot of credit for the west Londoners success. He arrived in England having never managed in the Premier League. After his team lost 3-0 to Arsenal in the early stages of the season, Conte switched to a back three formation. And, as they say, the rest is history. The club went about their business in a professional manner, never really allowing Tottenham back into the race. They had a minor slip up but nothing substantial enough to make Conte lose any sleep.
Chelsea were easily England's best away team, gaining 42 form a possible 57 points. Manchester City, who earned 38 points, finished as the Premier League's second best away team. The Blues lost only three matches away from home, one of which coming to rivals Tottenham mid-season. Spurs ended Chelsea's impressive winning streak at the time, but it wasn't enough to entirely change the complexion.
Only Tottenham perfromed better at home, with Chelsea taking 51 from 57 points at Stamford Bridge. They lost two matches at home, but were otherwise flawless. The big question is whether Conte can lead his team to a second Premier League crown in as many seasons. It won't be easy, as five other teams will be breathing down their neck.
Look for Chelsea to finish in the top four but don't back them to win the title outright. It's too much of an ask to win consecutive titles, especially with the team participating in the Champions League.
However, put a futures bet on the Blues winning the Champions League. This will be Conte's priority and it seems the beloved manager can accomplish anything he sets his mind to.
